An investigation into Garry Kasparov's infamous match against IBM's Deep Blue will be the first movie sponsored through a new documentary fund, set up by a partnership between the BBC, the UK Film Council and the Canadian National Film Board. Whatever Kasparov faced, we are all going to have to confront in the near future. It’s inevitable. Kasparov experienced it first because he was at the top of his game. Garry couldn’t have any delusions about his defeat, whilst the rest of us can still deny the war is coming. Kasparov bravely, as a true warrior, faced the machine early.
In the documentary "Game Over - Kasparov and the Machine" (2003, Director: Vikram Jayanti) Kasparov accuses the IBM team of hiding chess grandmasters in the highly guarded room that housed the Deep Blue computer. Although the documentary repeatedly brings this argument forward, the following portions of the documentary clearly highlight this:
The two matches between IBM’s Deep Blue and World Champion Garry Kasparov were the culmination of the dream of machines mastering chess, a game once (and perhaps still) considered a touchstone of the intellect. A key man in that quest was British mathematician Alan Turing, who published the first chess-playing program (on paper) in 1951.

The match has been compared with the historic chess match between Deep Blue and Garry Kasparov in 1997. The winner of the match was slated to win $1 million. Since AlphaGo won, Google DeepMind stated that the prize will be donated to charities, including UNICEF , and Go organisations . [3]
