DPF Issue (*Warning: Long read) Long read but wanted to give a little context to my current situation. So last month while I was on my way to the Isle of Wight for a weekend away with my wife and kids, I get the dreaded "Service Engine Now" and Engine management light comes on soon after. Soon the car goes into limp mode.
Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your Ford? Ford kuga titanium 09. Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far? I'm trying yeah. Tried all the doors. First it said boot was open. Now it's saying bonnet open. I've locked it with the key.
Where's the bonnet release catch/lever? Its not central as you might expect. This simple short video shows clearly the position of the bonnet lever and safet
I had the same problem with my Focus,,my mate managed to open the bonnet by taking the focus grill off,,,So when I moved the Ford badge instead of using a key I used a long screwdriver,,my mate put a dab of white paint where I needed to put the end of the screwdriver,,,so screwdriver In,line it up the the paint and opened the bonnet ( sometimes had to use a torch to see in) didn’t bother
First we open the tailgate to our height; then we are going to remove the license plate light ceiling, prying the sides with something thin (such as a flat screwdriver), as shown in the video. At this point we remove the small bulb bulb, replacing it with the new one; insert it correctly on the lamp holder and carry out the same procedure for
Answer. Replacing the sidelight bulbs in the Ford Kuga is a very, very simple operation. All that needs to be done is to open the bonnet and remove the large rubber plug on the back of the headlight. At this point, all that remains is to extract the bulb holder and proceed with the replacement. Posted on: 13 February 2022 by ScegliAuto.

DaveT70. You need to reset as per electric windows. You will have to research how to do it, I don't want to give you wrong advice, but I believe you manually open the tailgate fully, then press and hold the close button (on the tailgate) for 10 seconds.
