The only fix through Apple or an AASP is a complete replacement (with exchange) or the front screen assembly. It requires access to Apple's proprietary security equipment to pair the home button to the logic board. There is no way around this. I have this issue on my iPhone 7 Plus. I changed the screen and the home button works fine. The front camera and ear speaker didn’t work. I changed the front camera piece with a new one. The ear speaker works, but front camera does not.
